The Category Importance infographic depicts the front-end categories that outperformed in independent pharmacy over chain drug stores as discovered in research conducted in 2011 and detailed in the research report, Growth Drivers: The Factors Behind Independent Pharmacy OTC Sales. We also looked at the POS data gathered during research for the independent pharmacy shopper report to comparatively show the top categories according to sales from the sample of stores that provided information, as well as common categories that were also found in the same market basket.
