Waukesha, Wisconsin – January 26, 2022 – Dave Wendland, vice president strategic relations and member of the owner group, marked 30 years with HRG January 12th. Wendland’s role is primary liaison to trade associations, industry publications, and alliance partners. In addition, he assists the business development and corporate marketing teams, providing guidance, insights, and expertise.

As an owner and member of the senior leadership team, Wendland has helped establish the company’s strategic direction and encouraged its continuing innovation and evolution. In the past decade, HRG furthered its mind and market share in the retail industry, expanding to apply their experience to streamline fixture coordination, offer surge planogram services to beer, wine & spirit; recreational vehicle; and electrical part manufacturers, and provide e-commerce product content to food & beverage distributors.

Wendland said, “We are particularly skilled at looking beyond the identified challenge clients bring us to find holistic resolutions that are comprehensive, efficient, and most importantly, effective. The evolution of HRG has been incredibly inspiring and has given me many opportunities to flex my creative and strategic thinking as we continue to look forward and prepare to support clients as the next hurdles in retail present themselves.”

Dawn Vogelsang, president and leader of the owner group, said, “It’s special to see Dave achieve this milestone. I’m grateful for his partnership, passion, and vision throughout the years. In addition to our principles and commitment to exceeding our clients’ expectations, a substantial part of the reason HRG has such a great reputation in the industry is due to Dave, who is a frequent speaker, moderator, and participant in industry events. He is well-known, highly respected, and enjoys making connections, not only for the advancement of HRG but also among clients and partners who will mutually benefit by working together.”
