Waukesha, Wisconsin — April 7, 2022 — Dave Wendland, vice president strategic relations and member of the owner group at HRG, will be speaking at two upcoming April conferences. Next week he presents at the Independent Pharmacy Cooperative’s (IPC) Conference and the following week will speak at DTC Perspective’s OTC National forum.

On Wednesday, April 13, Wendland will present, “Revving Up Your Business,” at the IPC Conference from 1:00 p.m. — 2:00 p.m. Wendland will share insights regarding independent pharmacy shopper demographics, category preferences, and expectations which were uncovered in HRG’s Independent Pharmacy Research Study and describe the importance of customer segmentation. He’ll provide pharmacist attendees tools to capture, evaluate, and build on innovative ideas. Wendland stated, “Helping to harness the creativity of independent pharmacists and capitalize on the momentum generated during the pandemic should produce some exciting opportunities for IPC members.” The IPC Conference is April 12-15, at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, California.

Wendland’s session at OTC National, “Creating the Future: Adapting to the Changing Consumer,” is on April 21, 9:15 a.m. — 10:00 a.m. The discussion will focus on product efficacy and trust, personalized brand interactions, and shopping preferences. “As brands evolve to address the demand of tomorrow’s self-care shopper, a new playbook will be vital. This session will inform that transformation and introduce new ways to bring value to consumers.” OTC National takes place on April 21, at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts.
