Waukesha, Wisconsin — February 7, 2024 — HRG’s digital assets manager, Lisa Lopez, and vice president of strategic relations, Dave Wendland, will be presenting a webinar, Let’s Get Digital, for the CHPA Academy on March 6th at 2pm EST. Webinar attendees will learn the importance of managing their data assets and the large influence it can have on sales, what to consider when creating a digital assets library, and best practices for developing, maintaining, and monitoring digital assets.
HRG surveyed manufacturers in 2022 to understand their challenges with product information/data asset management and learned that their data and/or images were rejected 23% of the time with a minimum two-week turnaround for it to be rectified. To eliminate those rejections and lost time and money, digital assets must be managed to ensure:
- accurate and consistent product descriptions that meet the business rules for each platform,
- high-quality product images that comply with retailers’ requirements and attract shopper attention, and
- up-to-date product content is provided to eliminate shopper confusion.
Lopez said, “My team has seen firsthand how minor errors can keep a product from being published, resulting in both the manufacturer and retailer losing revenue while the item remains unavailable on the retailer website. The details of successful PIM/DAM can seem unimportant until companies realize how the lost sales add up and how detrimental it can be to the shopper and retail partner experience. I’m looking forward to sharing best practices to help manufacturers avoid these missteps and protect their brand integrity.”
Registration for the webinar is open and available on the CHPA website.
