Acknowledging trends in the retail industry such as consumers taking a stronger interest in self-care and looking to non-prescription items and medical devices to assist in prevention, maintenance, caregiving, or recovery, the panel will discuss the opportunity these trends present for brands, retailers, and consumers. Specifically, the panel will touch on the importance of:

  • SKU rationalization and optimization
  • Product innovation
  • Category performance indicators
  • Mergers & acquisitions

Pinkstaff stated, “This will be a terrific discussion integrating varied perspectives of our HRG associates who work with both manufacturers and retailers to optimize the shopping experience for consumers. Because we work with multiple parties across the retail supply chain, we have a unique, objective viewpoint on how to best capitalize on recent trends and continue to provide an online and in-store shopping experience that builds loyalty, repeat sales, and positive word of mouth.”

In addition to the panel discussion, HRG provided two thought leadership articles for Health Care program attendees, one addressing the purchase intents of consumers, and the other covering trends in digestive health and pain relief categories.
