Waukesha, Wisconsin — June 28, 2023 — HRG’s president and majority owner, Dawn Vogelsang, presented a session at Women’s Business Development Center’s (WBDC) recent Top Shelf Retail Program, held virtually on June 8th. The program is for manufacturers wanting to expand into mass market retailers. Vogelsang’s presentation called “Shelf Awareness,” covered topics including pitch decks, packaging considerations, space planning and planograms, and more.
The participants in the Top Shelf Retail Program have to meet specific criteria in order to participate in the program: they must be in business for more than two years, meet minimum revenue amounts, and commit to eight weeks of virtual learning. Vogelsang said, “I was excited to share insights with these diverse business owners who have so much passion about their product and their business, it is contagious! In my nearly 40 years with HRG, we have guided many a manufacturer in retail strategy to take their companies to the next level. It’s a pivotal time for a company when they are in an expansion phase, and I’m glad we could be a resource to them during their journey.”
