Waukesha, Wisconsin — May 11, 2022 — HRG has been named one of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s 2022 Top Workplaces, awarded to the best places to work in southeastern Wisconsin. This is the sixth year in a row that HRG has achieved the honor. Beth Maas, SPHR, HRG’s director of human resources said, “We are so thrilled to move up into the top 10 in our class this year! I’m very proud of our associates and their commitment to HRG and our culture.”
In 2021, HRG finally was able to hold the anniversary event for their 40th year which was originally slated for 2020. The newly anointed “41st Anniversary Celebration” took place over two days in September, and included HRG associates, clients, partners, and vendors. One of the few in-person industry events to occur last year, those in attendance were thrilled to be in the company of one another as well as there to support HRG.
HRG was able to celebrate their 2021 Top Workplace award, hosting associates for lunch and fun at Whirlyball in Brookfield Square. The company also had their annual picnic for associates and their families and an off-site holiday party at the Delafield Hotel to observe both the holidays and the company’s milestone anniversary. Maas said, “It was nice to get back to being able to do the types of employee appreciation events that were commonplace prior to 2020. Even though we did our best to hold events during the pandemic, there’s nothing like having everyone together.”
Dawn Vogelsang, president and majority owner of HRG, commented, “We take our culture seriously as it is one of the things that sets us apart from other companies. Winning for a sixth year in a row is verification that we continue to provide a fun, collaborative, engaging, and enriching environment.”
Vogelsang continued, “We heard first-hand at our Anniversary Celebration how highly-regarded our staff is by our business partners and we are grateful to have this special group of associates.”
The Top Workplaces are based solely on the results of an employee survey that was administered by Energage, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Companies participating were surveyed about aspects of their workplace culture and are measured on qualities such as company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation, benefits, and the impact company policies have on innovation and morale.
