for various types of goods, including food, fashion, and beauty. Her experience of tracking consumer behavior, following buying trends, and knowledge of creating a pleasing shopping experience are key as she works with wholesalers and retailers to provide tools that encourage consumers to shop.

“Over the four years Holly has worked at HRG as a merchandising analyst, we recognized her ability to easily relate to any stakeholder in the retail space. Her combination of experience is valuable in this role, and her fresh perspective will be useful as we continue to enhance our offerings to these important classes of trade,” stated Dawn Vogelsang, president and majority owner of HRG. “We know independent retailers have to differentiate to compete with the larger chains, and we’re constantly thinking about tools and expertise we can provide to help them set themselves apart.”

Ockelmann said, “I’m excited to work directly with the drug wholesalers, independent pharmacies, and convenience store distributors and outlets to help them achieve their business goals. HRG has such a rich history of serving the independent pharmacy channel with category management and merchandising tools that are designed to improve the profitability of pharmacy front ends, which aligns with my passion for creating a great shopping experience. I also enjoy working with our clients in the convenience store channel because it’s a different shopper mindset and behavior to satisfy.”
