HRG Learns the Latest About the Ever-Evolving Convenience Channel at NACS

October 26, 2017 – Hamacher Resource Group, Inc., (HRG), attended the National Association of Convenience Stores Show, October 19th, in Chicago, IL. Angela Pinkstaff, director of business development, Steve Choate, business development manager, and Michele Feldner, category analyst, were present in support of HRG’s convenience channel business.

“The NACS show was high energy and it was great to see the size and scope of products in the exhibit halls,” Pinkstaff said. “We have provided category management and assortment planning to convenience chains for many years and have the skills and experience in-house to further assist the companies across this channel’s retail supply chain. It was a great opportunity for us to strengthen relationships, see new developments firsthand, and stay on the leading edge of trends in the convenience channel.”

According to the NACS Show Onsite Guide, convenience stores in the United States total just over 154,000; and, according to Nielsen as of December 31, 2016, account for more than one third of all retail outlets in the U.S. In addition to category management, HRG is well equipped to offer their expertise in brand marketing, retail execution strategy, item database management, fixture coordination, and analytics to this channel.
