Hamacher Resource Group Presents CEs to help Community Pharmacies Improve Operational and Bottom Line Results at McKesson ideaShare 2017

Waukesha, Wisconsin – July 11, 2017 – Dave Wendland, vice president, strategic relations, and member of the owners group for Hamacher Resource Group, Inc. (HRG), will conduct two continuing education (CE) sessions at the upcoming McKesson ideaShare 2017 conference, July 12-16 in New Orleans, LA. On Wednesday, July 12th, at 1:00 p.m., he’ll present, “Staffing for Success.” “Finding Niche Opportunities” will be offered Thursday, July 13th, at 10:30 a.m. Both sessions will provide independent pharmacists and front-end managers practical and actionable advice and tips.

The “Staffing for Success” CE is aimed at improving operational efficiencies and will cover these learning objectives:

  1. Interpreting customer needs and appropriately responding
  2. Setting staffing goals, from hiring to creating incentive programs that drive success
  3. Choosing staffing models focused on high service and maximum efficiencies
  4. Developing a plan for team communication and training

“Finding Niche Opportunities” will help pharmacies identify opportunities for differentiation that will further sales and growth. Session objectives include:

    1. The importance of store differentiation and consumer experience
    2. Pros and cons of leaping into a niche category
    3. What has and hasn’t worked in trying a niche
    4. The necessary steps in a niche category development process
    5. Ways to measure the success of niche-building efforts
