Hamacher Resource Group and Linkage Research to Present Trends in Natural Beauty

Waukesha, Wisconsin – August 1, 2019 – Hamacher Resource Group, Inc. (HRG) and Linkage Research & Consulting, Inc (Linkage) have teamed up to present a webinar detailing their recent research into the growth of natural beauty. The webinar, Consumer & Industry Trends Fueling Natural Beauty, will be presented at 1:00 p.m. on August  21st. The information presented will help both retailers and brands learn how to appeal to these natural beauty consumers, including looking at who they are and what they are seeking in natural beauty products. Interested participants can get a sneak peek at some of the information that will be shared in the infographic created to highlight a few key points.

The consumer data about skin and hair care was collected by Linkage from January – March, 2019 in a large-scale internet-based study with 2,000 U.S. households. The study is representative of the U.S. population based on geography, gender, age, race, and income. The skin care data on positioning statements is based on over 2,500 new health, beauty, and wellness items presented to HRG during 2018. HRG also researched its master database of health, beauty, and wellness products to discover which beauty products had made a natural or free-from claim and/or a responsible behavior claim.

Michele DeKinder-Smith, president and founder of Linkage Research & Consulting; Dave Wendland, vice president, strategic relations at HRG; Julie Bonnell, vice president, operations at HRG, and Carrie Schaefer, vice president, marketing & strategy at Linkage; will be the presenters. DeKinder-Smith has 20+ years’ experience delivering consumer insights for leading and emerging brands, while Wendland and Bonnell are steeped in the retail industry with 25+ and 20+ years respectively at HRG and both are members of the owner group.
